Introducing Truth + Telos

Welcome to Truth + Telos, where faith, wisdom, and purpose converge.

For years, I’ve searched for an outlet to share my deepest beliefs—not out of self-importance, but to explore and convey the truths I feel most called to offer.

I am a Christian first and a husband second. Beyond that, I’m a therapist and a constitutional conservative who loves his country. These identities shape how I see the world, guide my actions, and inspire this blog.

Practicing therapy has been immensely rewarding, but as a man of faith, I've endured significant inner conflict navigating the clinical and cultural landscapes. Our society seems increasingly unwilling to embrace respectful disagreement. Yet, I believe that engaging in loving, honest dialogue is essential for our collective well-being. Most importantly, I believe we're called to speak the truth.

Truth + Telos embodies the heart of this project.

In 1 Corinthians 13:13, Paul reminds us: “And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.” Just a few verses earlier, he writes: “Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.”

Without truth, there can be no love. And so, it is my aim to speak the truth, always in love.

The word telos is Greek for “end,” “purpose,” or “goal.” In philosophy, it refers to the ultimate aim or purpose—the driving force behind all things.

At Truth + Telos, our purpose is clear: to preach the gospel, share wisdom, and guide others toward becoming who Christ calls us to be.
